Amazing body-work, from someone who knows! While on a ski vacation in Park City, I scheduled a class and then a Thai Massage at Yoga Kula Project. I’ve had a lot of body work done and when you travel and try someone new, you never know what you’re going to get. My Thai Massage with Trudee was absolutely excellent. If you’ve never had this kind of massage before, you have to know what you’re getting into. You don’t lie on a table naked while someone massages you. With Thai, you wear comfortable, stretchy clothes (like for yoga) and you lie on a comfy, cushioned mat on the floor. There is some participation on the part of the recipient, but not much. For example, sometimes you hold her wrist as she holds you and gently pulls you into a satisfying stretch while applying pressure to your muscles with her foot. It is heavenly and the perfect kind of massage if you’re skiing because there is so much stretch incorporated into the massage. Trudee even perceived that I needed some lymphatic drainage work and incorporated that into my treatment. She was right! I will absolutely come back on my next trip to Park City! Thanks, Trudee!

The Yoga + Hot Pilates class after a day of skiing was PERFECT! I did the Yoga+Hot Pilates class at Westgate on a Tuesday morning where Trudee was the instructor. I absolutely loved the class and it was just what my body craved after a day of skiing. For me, it was the perfect combination of yoga poses, Pilates, and some HIIT. I really liked the heated room as it felt wonderful on my muscles. I found Trudee to be an excellent instructor, very knowledgeable, and she even had a sense of humor which I always find refreshing. I hope to return to Park City again in the future where I will definitely take more of her classes. Thanks for the great experience Trudee!

This is the place to go! Whereas most people come to Canyons for skiing, I am indulging myself in hot Pilates, yoga, Thai yoga massage and other wondrous combinations at Yoga Kula Project. This has been my Utah haven for the past 8 years of annual December visits from Manhattan.
Between my many travels (where I always seek out yoga classes) and my home in the heart of Greenwich Village (where if you throw a rock you hit a yoga studio), I have to say that Trudee (owner and teacher) has established a top-notch studio that is practical, spiritual, beginner- and advanced-friendly…not easy to do! She is extremely knowledgeable about anatomy, yoga, Pilates and meditation, and just a gem of a person.
I only wish I could spend more time there…or bring her back with me!

Just have to say what a wonderful find this was!! My husband and son went fishing and I was looking for a yoga studio. After a yelp search I came across Yoga Kula and found Trudee! She’s a great instructor. Such a laid back friendly environment. Easy to find and the “local crew” were very welcoming. Definitely HOT Pilates but it felt like a true detox for one hour. Thank you Trudee, I look forward to our next visit so I can come practice with you all again.

This wonderful little yoga studio really made my trip to Park City Utah! Whilst my family enjoyed the slopes I was able to really enjoy the classes offered by Yoga Kula Project. Thank you so much for your care and attention to detail, your wonderful style and music and relaxing environment. I recommend this yoga studio with all of my heart.
Review on March 2017: Last week I was in a morning Bikram yoga class at the Canyons. We have been staying at the Canyons every year for the past 16 years, first as 2 young people dating, then as a newly married couple, and now as parents to 2 girls, ages 2 and 6. I always enjoy that one day break from skiing when I start with a yoga class. I wish I could fit in a bit more when I’m there. It’s always amazing. I learn and hear new things, and ways of approaching my yoga. Perhaps better planning next year.
The teacher that day, I think it may have been Trudee, gave me some wonderful advice about using tennis balls to break down knots in my lower back. I wanted to thank you and say I have been following orders and have some relief already. I will continue to use the tennis ball method and hope to be camelling and rabitting a lot better next year.

Yoga Like Your HOME: I was on my second trip to Park City early this month for a ski trip with friends, and I practice Bikram actively, so I am always looking for a location to continue my workouts. Yoga Kula Project is wonderful. It’s my home away from home. This is my second year using the studio, and I love it. Trudy, the owner, is knowledgeable and welcoming. Her diverse classes cover the needs for all who practice any form of Yoga, Pilates or Boot Camp. And the fact that she alters the Apres Ski classes toward a hard day after the mountain is fabulous. Yoga Kula Project is a must, if you are into physical fitness or if you just want to stretch. What I thought was wonderful about her classes was that couples practiced together. Honestly, Trudy’s classes make even the first timer feel welcomed, stretched and not lost.
Yoga Kula Project is a great deal for the money. She has mats and towels for a dollar each, and if you are staying for awhile and want to partake in daily classes (you will she really stretches and teaches you), then call her beforehand and she will create a package so that you only pay once. Classes are $18 with a mat or $17 without. Yoga Kula Project is a find!!! It’s the kinda place that you would want as your main studio. And Trudy is the instructor you always wanted. Kudos to her for creating my AwayYoga Studio that is HOME!!! See you next year Trudy and Thanks.

My college girlfriends have a yearly getaway – as busy moms, working professionals, and as we try to maintain any sort of “balance” in our lives, we strive to meet yearly to rejuvenate. Yoga has become a big part of this yearly tradition. This year we had Trudee meet us at our house for private instruction.
Some of us take yoga regularly. Many of us do not. Trudee was wonderful! She was an expert instructor; very soothing; very calm; gave us a great 60 minute yoga workout. Two of us were pregnant and she discussed the modifications we needed to make (and should expect to make over the next few months). We had a great yoga session, and as a bonus, learned a bit about Ayurveda as well! This ancient Indian healing practice was very insightful and helped not only enhance our yoga session, but helped provide some insight into our lives and personality as well.
Trudee was very professional – very responsive to our inquiries and in booking the session. I would highly recommend her for private lessons, or I am sure she does a great job leading a studio class.
There are people who come into your life and leave an impression that is impossible to erase. Their wisdom, compassion and insight touch your soul so deeply that they become part of you. They are not necessarily famous or known by anyone other than you. It’s just that what they give to your heart; you then in turn give to others. Who has left this positive impression on you???
Come and experience it for yourself.
I was on your website and I agree with everything Barney said and more….. I realized after my 1st class how excited I was to have you put into my life. You are amazing I am excited to start my journey into the world of “Bikram” with you. I love when the universe puts a neon light that is so bright you can’t ignore it and have nothing but gratitude because of it. You sister were put in my life for a reason now I get to spend endless hours sweating my ass off to find out. How much fun is that? As selfish as I am I will be bringing a friend with me on Saturday who I know will love you and your studio just as much as I do! See ya tomorrow night at 530! I hope you have a great day.

I would like to share with everyone what a great experience Yoga Kula Project is and what a fabulous teacher Trudee is. She is very knowledgeable and encouraging, allowing all ability levels to reach their full potential, while conducting a fun and engaging class. I encourage all yoga ability levels to try a class with Trudee, as you will come back again and again. And the spa afterwards is a nice treat too!
Yoga Kula Project is a great place to do and enhance ones yoga practice. Trudee is a skilled instructor, adaptable to those practicing that time. She remembers you if it’s been awhile since you last were there and make everyone feel welcome regardless of skill level. Trudee is excellent at helping injury recovery and from burnout. 8 months ago I found Yoga Kula Project. Now, I find it very hard to go elsewhere to practice. Trudee is skilled at bringing other great instructors in to the studio, which entices one to keep coming again and again. For example, today Tuesday 4/1/14 the first Tuesday of the month Chris, a master at leading a good practice, will do the 5:30 pm class. Also, Joie, Janet, Anna, Heather and other guest instructors make for a well balanced studio. Yoga Kula Project the best. Practice at Yoga kula Project 3 times in a week and you will feel better physically mentally and spiritually.
