30 Day October 2016 Yoga & Meditation Challenge @ Yoga Kula Project, LLC
During the Challenge, our goal is to help each individual find a rhythm of daily yoga and meditation; however, each participant will set personal goals. For example, if you have an extremely busy schedule, your goal may be three sun salutations and 5 minutes of meditation daily. Whereas, another person’s goal may be one hour of yoga and one hour of mediation daily. All classes (Hot Pilates too!) in the studio are free during the month of October.
During the month, we will be exploring recent cutting-edge neuroscience of the brain and the positive effects that researchers are finding with those who have a daily yoga and meditation practice. Moreover, several styles of meditation will be introduced, so you can choose the type, or types, that work best for your needs. If you are unable to attend all six special sessions, do not worry; just do your best.
Additionally, you will have month long support with dietary issues. Also, ongoing information will be available to support you emotionally and assist you with yoga and meditation.
All materials will be provided. All you have to do is sign up, create your goals and show up.

This class combines yoga and light weight-training to tone the full body. It is designed to help people move deeper into yoga poses, as well as improve overall fitness and strength. Doing yoga with weights forces you to slow down and pay closer attention to your alignment, boost metabolism and build lean muscle mass. You’ll combine free weights while mixing in strength-training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls. The heat helps you to find your edge in a posture more quickly and efficiently, and helps you build strength. Once your muscles are warm, you can tax them to fatigue. The heat also makes you sweat more, helping to flush out your body and detox.
Room temperature is 85-90 degrees.

Prana, is vital life force, which keeps us vibrant, healthy, and alive.
The Chakras are wheels of energy throughout the body. There are seven main chakras, which align the spine. These swirling wheels of energy correspond to massive nerve centers in the body. Each of the seven main chakras contains bundles of nerves and major organs as well as our psychological, emotional, and spiritual states of being. Since everything is moving, it’s essential that our seven main chakras stay open, aligned, and fluid. If there is a blockage, energy cannot flow.
During this 75 minute workshop I will give You the tools and information to understand the energy centers and how to work with them through your daily life, using the essential oils and yoga posses as tools to assist the work to balance them and open them so the energy flows and You can always have a happy healthy body!
This is a All Level Class. Please dress comfortable and make sure to arrive early and to bring all your friends with you!
