The end of summer is always a time of transition. For me, it is difficult to move away from the warm summer days. School starts back up, the days get shorter and, after a long hot summer, I’m always surprised to feel a chill in the air. A favorite yoga instructor encouraged me to be mindful of transitions of all kinds; from one season to another, yoga pose to yoga pose and life phase to life phase. I am, also, reminded of a quote by Eckhart Tolle ”…sometimes letting go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.” I guess it’s time to let go of summer and welcome fall. One great benefit is that I will see more of you returning to the studio. Yea!
